Springing to a Community Near You
Bernardo Castilho, Chief Technology Officer
Last month marked the official start of spring. In the developer world, the ramp-up of conferences, code camps, and tech fests are key indicators of the changing season. This past year, the ComponentOne Team has been actively involved in over 25 user group meetings, code camps, and conferences combined. Our expanding product line, including our Silverlight OLAP data analysis controls and jQuery UI widgets, has given us much to talk about.
|
Being out in the community has also provided us a chance to see what a significant impact our clients have in the marketplace. Just recently Greg Gum, the founder and lead software engineer at SecuraMail.net, showcased ComponentOne FlexGrid and RichTextBox controls in the INETA Component Code Challenge winning him a scholarship to TechEd 2011 in Atlanta. Congrats to Greg, and to all of you doing similar work in your respective fields.
This May we'll be at TechEd talking about our latest releases, including Silverlight controls for Windows Phone 7, Silverlight OLAP data analysis controls, and jQuery UI widgets. I encourage you visit the team to learn more and see these new controls firsthand, and tell us what you think.
